Although most people are accustomed to using Google, the Microsoft Bing search engine is no less. This relatively new service for finding information from Windows makers is also growing rapidly. In some cases Bing (such as Image Search) is more efficient than Google; However, the tendency to bring in "too much" content has put Bing in a bit of a predicament. Because, in terms of listing malware links in search results, Bing has scored more numerically than Google.

According to a report by PC Mag, the results of a 16-month study conducted by the German security firm AV-Test show that search giant Google is relatively safer than its main rival Bing. Because Redmond's search tool shows more harmful links than Google.

"More than 110 million malware active on the web": Avitest

From August 2011 to February 2013, AV-Test analyzed nearly 40 million websites supplied by various search engines, more than half of which came from Google and Bing. Other search engines include Yandex, Blakeco, Faro, Baidu, etc.

According to the results of the study, Google is in the best position, followed by Microsoft Bing. In this case, at least 0.0025 percent malware link was found in Google search results. Then comes Bing, which results in 0.012% of malicious site addresses and 0.024% of Yandex.

So Google is five times more secure than Bing in terms of malware security.
