Mozilla is launching a special web payment system for Firefox OS

Non-profit company Mozilla is going to create a new web payment system for use in their Firefox mobile operating system. The JavaScript API-based "Navigator.mozpe ()" project will allow you to buy and sell a variety of products and services online. In this case users will be able to pay the bill through their credit card or mobile operator.

According to an official Mozilla blog post, the payment system is essentially a modified version of the Google Wallet API that will support a large number of transaction providers and, more importantly, will work with network carriers.

The use of "navigator.majpe ()" will be easy. Whenever a web-app that supports the technology signals it, a secure pop-up window with a minimal user interface appears. The desired transaction will be completed only after providing the password and other useful credentials there.

To compete in the smartphone market, Mozilla continues to work with their Firefox OS to establish a deeper relationship with the mobile network carrier. Not only that, the company is also working to deliver mobile phone services in Internet browsers.

In fact, it would be a milestone for Mozilla if it were so easy to pay online shopping bills directly from a mobile account. This is because purchasing a simple application or tuk-tuk service without having to deal with important matters like credit card can only be done through a mobile network account, which will save some of the unwanted banking harassment (for example, hacking, installing malware, data theft, etc.).
